Inside that section, you'll find a box titled „Network Settings“ with all available options for Ethernet and Wi-Fi.
1. Select Interface
At the top of the page, you’ll find a dropdown menu to select the interface you want to configure, e.g.:
Ethernet 1Wi-Fi 1- etc.
⚠️ Settings shown below apply only to the selected interface.
2. Ethernet Interface Settings
DHCP (automatic)
- Enable the „DHCP“ checkbox to let the BMS automatically get its IP settings from your router.
Static IP (manual)
If DHCP is disabled, you need to manually enter:
- IP Addresses:
- Add at least one
- Use „+„ to add more, „–“ to remove last
- DNS Nameservers:
- Same add/remove logic
- Used to resolve domain names (e.g. grnbms.de)
- Gateway:
- Usually the IP of your router (e.g.

3. Wi-Fi Interface Settings
Wi-Fi interfaces support two modes: Access Point or Client (Station)
➤ Access Point Mode
If „Use as Access Point“ is checked, enter:
- SSID – WiFi name
- Password – WPA2 key

📶 Devices can connect directly to this access point for setup.
➤ Client Mode (normal Wi-Fi)
If Access Point mode is not checked, the interface acts like Ethernet:
- DHCP checkbox
- Or manual:
- IP Address(es)
- DNS Servers
- Gateway
