Updates
To keep your system secure and up to date, go to Updates in the sidebar.
This page is divided into two sections: GRN-OS Updates and Peripheral Manager.
GRN-OS Updates
This section handles updates for the internal operating system of the BMS (GRN-OS).
If an update is available, it will be listed along with a short summary of improvements and bug fixes.
A button labeled „Install Update“ will appear when an update is ready to be installed.
💡 Regular updates improve performance, stability, and compatibility with new features.
Peripheral Manager
In this section, all connected external devices that support firmware updates are listed, e.g.:
GRN-CMU (Cell Monitoring Units)
Nextion Display
Other smart peripherals
If updates are available, you can press „Install All“ to update all devices in one step.
⚠️ Important:
Before performing any update (OS or peripherals), make sure the Battery Switch is turned off!
This ensures the system remains in a safe, low-power state during the update process.
