Dies ist eine alte Version des Dokuments!

Request your own Battery Profile

Here you can request a new battery profile for your GRNbms device.

⚠️ Important Rules:

Only one active request allowed at a time.

Request is linked to your user account and cannot be moved.

Your device must be registered to the same account.

Field-by-Field Explanation:

Basics

Name: Choose a clear name for your battery.

ID, Version, Binding ID: (Admin only)

Cell Voltages

Min Volt Warning: Below this voltage per cell you get a warning.

Min Volt Error: Below this voltage per cell the system enters error.

Max Volt Warning: Above this voltage per cell you get a warning.

Max Volt Error: Above this voltage per cell the system enters error. ❗ ¹ Attention:
These voltages are per cell!
Internally, the system multiplies by the number of cells in series (12S = ×12).

Temperature

Temp Sensor Type: Choose the sensor used (e.g., NTC10k, PT1000, etc.).

Temp Sensor Count (GRN CMU): How many temp sensors your CMU uses (0–3).

Min Temp Warning: Below this temperature you get a warning.

Min Temp Error: Below this, the system enters error.

Max Temp Warning: Above this temperature you get a warning.

Max Temp Error: Above this, the system enters error. (All values in °C)

Balancing

Min Balance Voltage: Start balancing when cell voltage reaches this value.

Max Balance Voltage: Stop balancing above this value.

Max Balance Load: Maximum PWM percentage (0–100 %) the balancing circuit uses.

Balance Current: Estimated balancing current per cell (A).

Balance Target (overall): Balancing goal voltage across all cells.

Delta (Cell differences)

Delta Warning 0 Load: Maximum allowed voltage difference between cells at no load (relaxed battery).

Delta Error 0 Load: Error if exceeded at no load.

Delta Warning Full Load: Max allowed difference under full load.

Delta Error Full Load: Error if exceeded under full load. ❗ ¹ Attention:
The value you set is per cell but the system multiplies it with the number of cells in series for calculations.

Current Limits

Max DC Current: Max discharge current allowed per cell (in Ampere).

Max CH Current: Max charge current allowed per cell (in Ampere).

Cell Capacity Wh: Energy content of one single cell in Watt-hours. ❗ ² Attention (for currents):
DC and CH currents are multiplied by parallel strings.
⚡ Example:
If you have 5P (5 cells in parallel), the allowed system current = Value × 5.

BUT:
If you use pre-assembled battery modules (e.g., 12S5P module), the whole module counts as 1 parallel group for the BMS!
→ So in this case, do NOT multiply by 5 manually!

³ Attention (for capacity):
The „Cell Capacity Wh“ must be for ONE cell only.
The BMS calculates total pack energy internally:
Capacity × Number of all cells (series × parallel).

⚡ Example:

Module = 12S5P

Total cells = 12 × 5 = 60

If total module has 600Wh,
then cell capacity must be:
600Wh ÷ 12 cells = 50Wh
(not ÷60!)

Tables (Temperature / SOC Maps)

Temperature vs Current:

Defines how much current is allowed depending on temperature.

SOC vs Current:

Defines current limits depending on the State of Charge.

Voltage vs SOC:

Defines how a measured cell voltage is mapped to a SOC %.

What you must absolutely watch out for:

✅ Always enter per cell values unless otherwise stated.
✅ Always think about series cells for voltages.
✅ Always think about parallel groups (modules) for currents.
✅ For capacity, use only per-cell capacity, independent of parallel count.
