Pack Configuration
Go to Battery → Pack Configuration in the sidebar to define your battery layout and set current and safety limits.
Cells in Parallel
Number of cells connected in parallel per module.
ℹ️ Note: A module with 12 cells in series (12S) counts as 1 parallel group, regardless of the number of physical cells inside.
Cells in Series
Total number of cells in series in your full battery pack.
This value is critical for accurate voltage monitoring and state-of-charge (SOC) calculations.
Max / Min Charge Current
Set the maximum and minimum charging current as a percentage of the value defined in the selected Battery Type.
💡 Example: If your battery profile allows 200 A max charge current and you set 60%, the BMS will limit to 120 A.
Charge & Discharge Current – Warnings & Errors
Define four thresholds that trigger system warnings or errors based on current flow:
Charge Warning
Charge Error
Discharge Warning
Discharge Error
Each is set in % of the battery type’s current limit.
⚠️ Important: These limits help protect your system from overcurrent conditions.
Set realistic values based on your hardware capabilities.
Balance with Errors
Enable this to allow balancing even while errors are active.
⚠️ Caution: Use only for recovery or diagnostics.
In normal operation, this option should remain disabled.
SOC Limits
Define how far the battery is allowed to charge or discharge:
Maximum SOC – upper limit (e.g. 90%)
Minimum SOC – lower limit (e.g. 10%)
🔋 Tip: Reducing the usable SOC range can extend battery life significantly.
