Message Center
In the top-right corner of the interface, you’ll see a small envelope icon.
This is the Message Center, which notifies you of system events and alerts.
Notification Indicator
The envelope will blink when new messages are available.
A colored dot next to it indicates the severity:
- 🔵 Blue – Info Informational messages such as unsaved settings or successful actions.
🛈 These do not affect system behavior – purely for user awareness. - 🟡 Yellow – Warning Early warnings about conditions approaching a limit (e.g. high temperature, low voltage).
⚠️ The system remains fully operational – relays stay on, but attention is recommended. - 🔴 Red – Error A critical fault has occurred, such as limit violations or safety checks failing.
🛑 The BMS performs a safe shutdown, relays are disabled, and the system waits until the issue is resolved.
Viewing Messages
Click the envelope icon to open the Message Center.
There you’ll find a list of recent system messages, including severity levels.
💡 Use this area to diagnose issues, review warnings, and monitor system behavior.
Action Buttons
Some messages include a button for quick actions, depending on the message type:
- Unsaved Settings → A button to save the current configuration
- Error Messages → A Discard button to clear the error manually after resolving the issue
⚠️ Discarding an error does not ignore the problem, but triggers a re-evaluation of the system state.
If the issue no longer exists (e.g. temperature back to normal), the relays will re-engage automatically after passing the safety check.
