Request your own Battery Profile

Here you can request a new battery profile for your GRNbms device.

⚠️ Important Rules:

Field-by-Field Explanation:

Basics

➡️ Ideally include manufacturer, model/type, and other important details
(e.g., „LG INR18650-MJ1 3500mAh“).
This helps with faster and more accurate matching during approval.

Cell Voltages

¹ Attention:

These voltages are per cell!
Internally, the system multiplies by the number of cells in series (12S = ×12).

Temperature

ℹ️ Note:
These fields are only relevant if you are using a GRN CMU (Cell Monitoring Unit).
If your battery does not use a GRN CMU, you can ignore these settings.

Balancing

—-

Delta (Cell differences)

¹ Attention:

The value you set is per cell but the system multiplies it with the number of cells in series for calculations.

Current Limits

² Attention (for currents):

DC and CH currents are multiplied by parallel strings.
⚡ Example:
If you have 5P (5 cells in parallel), the allowed system current = Value × 5.

BUT:
If you use pre-assembled battery modules (e.g., 12S5P module), the whole module counts as 1 parallel group for the BMS!
→ So in this case, do NOT multiply by 5 manually!

³ Attention (for capacity):
The „Cell Capacity Wh“ must be for ONE cell only.
The BMS calculates total pack energy internally:
Capacity × Number of all cells (series × parallel).

⚡ Example:

then cell capacity must be:
600Wh ÷ 12 cells = 50Wh
(not ÷60!)

Tables (Temperature / SOC Maps)

Important: Both maps limit the maximum available current in % relative to the normal current settings!

(Example: If 50% is set, only half the current is allowed at that point.)

Voltage vs SOC:

What you must absolutely watch out for:

✅ Always enter per cell values unless otherwise stated.
✅ Always think about series cells for voltages.
✅ Always think about parallel groups (modules) for currents.
✅ For capacity, use only per-cell capacity, independent of parallel count.
