===== System Settings =====

To access the system settings, go to the **sidebar** and click on **"Network"**.\\
Inside the page, look for the box labeled **"System"**.

Here you can configure how your BMS identifies itself in the network and on the GRNbms portal.

==== ➤ Hostname ====

  * This is the name your BMS uses **within your local network**
  * It's used for accessing the web interface (e.g. ''[[http://grnbmsmk3.local|http://grnbmsmk3.local]]'' )
  * Only use **letters, numbers, and dashes**  – no spaces or special characters

''💡 If multiple BMS units are used in the same network, make sure each has a **unique hostname**''

==== ➤ Plant Name ====

  * This is the name shown on [[https://grnbms.de|GRNbms.de]]
  * Choose a name that clearly identifies the system (e.g. //Garage Pack//, //Van//, //Testbank 1//)
  * This is purely **cosmetic**  and does not affect network functions
