To select your battery type, go to **Battery → Battery Type** in the sidebar.

Here you can choose from a list of predefined battery modules.

==== Battery Module Selection ====

Use the **dropdown menu** to select the battery type or module you are using.

This will automatically load a set of default parameters such as:

  * Cell chemistry
  * Nominal voltage
  * Safe operating ranges
  * Balancing thresholds
